Good news for all who consider dull surfaces simply dull. What was in vogue in the 70's and 80's is now back - the interiors have to shine: furniture, floors, walls and doors.
Just like disco-glam clothes the high gloss furniture that was fashionable some 30 years ago is now trendy again. Mainly in kitchens, where top stylists most eagerly place glossy table and counter tops, furniture fronts or even floors. But also in living rooms and bedrooms where even doors have to shine.
High gloss surfaces have a practical advantage too. By reflecting the light they double the visible space. Although you cannot use this virtual additional space for placing a new cupboard or a table, surely you can enjoy the perspective.
The highest light reflection factor can be achieved with shining white surfaces or with varnished bright-coloured wood. But the same can apply to surfaces in other colours, of course if they are produced in the high gloss technology. High gloss black on the other hand suits large, sparsely furnished interiors, e.g. austere lofts, going well with steel, glass or concrete. Glossy black (sometimes even with glitter) is preferred by Italian designers. They like also shining red - after all Ferrari is made in Italy.
Since the beginning of 2010 we are promoting our new range of
high gloss laminated doors. There is a choice of 6 models in 8 high
gloss (HG) finishes: HG white, HG black, HG écru, HG flower, teak
samoa HG, walnut tiepolo HG, rosewood HG and rosewood santos
HG.
